Our Services
Our goal is to make your dental treatment as gentle, as enduring, and as inexpensive as possible. Over the years we have learned what type of treatment works and lasts. We don't like to do "heroic" type treatment. We are conservative and prefer to provide care that has proven results. We recommend practical solutions for our patients' needs.
Emergency Care is a priority with our office. We are usually able to see an emergency patient the same day they call. Dr. Clark is available for patients of record by calling his home 501-327-7993.

Digital X-Rays: greater detail and flexibility than traditional x-rays, and less radiation
Rotary Endodontics: Root canal treatment is provided with rotary instruments
Digital Intraoral Photography: allows us to more clearly see and evaluate conditions resulting in earlier and more conservative treatment
Computerized Appointment Notification: Our system can send e-mails and text messages to help our patients with their schedule.
OUR SERVICES
Orthodontic Treatment
We never charge for our orthodontic consultations. When teeth are not aligned properly and the bite is not as it should be, many problems can arise. The most obvious issue is the appearance of crooked, crowded, or even excessively spaced teeth. The correction of these conditions can improve one’s self-confidence and self-esteem. Untreated orthodontic problems can also contribute to tooth decay, gum disease, loss of bone support, and possibly TMJ problems.
We offer several orthodontic solutions:
Comprehensive Care: corrects the bite and the alignment of teeth.
6 Month Braces®: primarily addresses the alignment of the front teeth and some minor bite correction.
Invisalign®: primarily addresses the alignment of the front teeth
Snap On Smile™
No shots, No drilling, No adhesives! SOS is a thin, specialized resin material that is fabricated to snap over your natural teeth and can be removed like any dental appliance. There are 23 color shades and 18 smile designs to choose from. This is an affordable cosmetic alternative to permanent dental treatment.
Gum Treatment
We believe that healthy gums and bone support are vital to maintaining natural teeth for a lifetime. Research has shown that gum disease has a direct influence on heart disease. Our goal is to keep our patients on schedule with their cleanings. If a patient misses several cleanings a full mouth debridement may be needed. Depending on how tissues respond to that procedure will determine if “deep cleaning” (root planning and scaling) procedures are needed. The health of the gums and bone support is very important.
Fillings/Bonding
It is important to do fillings when “cavities” are small. Untreated, they will get bigger, and the possibility of pain increases. There is usually no pain associated with small fillings. We do silver fillings (amalgams) and tooth colored bonded fillings.
Crowns
When large fillings fail (leak or break) or teeth break or chip, the best way to restore the tooth to its proper form and function is to crown it. We offer several types of crowns. The crown will “hold the tooth together,” make the tooth stronger and prettier in the case of porcelain crowns. Crowns are also easier to keep clean and consequently the gum and bone support are healthier.
Implant Crowns
When missing teeth are replaced with implants we can place a crown that will provide excellent function with a life-like appearance.
Root Canal Therapy
When decay (a cavity) gets deep it will sometimes infect the nerve of the tooth. When this happens, a root canal is needed. A root canal is kind of like a “filling” that goes the full length of the tooth.
Bridges
When teeth are lost it is important to replace the missing teeth. The space created by the loss of teeth allows the remaining teeth to shift and move such that those teeth may also be lost. In other words, the “domino effect” would cause more teeth to be lost. A bridge is like a series of crowns and artificial teeth connected together to replace the missing teeth. The bridge is cemented into place and cannot be taken in and out.
Teeth Whitening
Our at home teeth whitening consists of custom trays and whitening gel. Our trays are fabricated out of the highest quality materials. Particularly important is the accuracy of the fit of the cervical one third of the tooth - the most difficult part of the tooth to whiten. We use a gel called Opalescence. The trays are worn for one hour a day for 10 days. We also include a storage box for your trays. This treatment is usually effective for 12 to 18 months before a "touch up" is needed. We sell extra gel at half price to patients who had their trays made in our office.
