Our Staff as of January, 2012
Brooke updated January 2012
We “stole” Brooke in April 2004 from the Marketplace Grill. She waited on our family and they (not me) put her through the “paces”. She did it all with a smile. Cameron (my wife) thought she would do well in a dental office. I thought, we’ve got a dental office, maybe we should try to hire her. The rest is, as they say, history. Brooke is the Office Administrator and our insurance expert. She is the new patient liaison and helped design the forms that are available on line so the paperwork can be done in the comfort of the patient's own home.
Brooke was born in North Carolina and grew up in Arkansas. She and James were married on Leap Day in 2000. Smart move on James’ part; he only has to remember an anniversary every 4 years. Their “children” (for the time being) Atticus and Winnie actually resemble cats. Update: As of Jan 31, 2011 Atticus and Winnie are officially "cats" again. Brooke and James were blessed with the birth of one Harper Adele Davis. She puts the gorgeous in gorgeous!
Brooke likes anything outside; working out, reading, and just hanging out with friends. She also enjoys shopping. Her favorite TV shows and movies include Desperate Housewives, Law & Order SVU, Gone with the Wind, And Back to the Future.
Brooke likes working in dentistry because:
I love working with people and making them so happy when we fix their teeth. It truly lights up their whole face and I believe it gives them confidence and changes their outlook in such a positive way.
When asked what kind of tree would you be and why?
Brooke replied:
A palm tree because I am mellow, breezy, and exotic, and I love to hang out on the beach like a beach bum.
Christine Last Updated: May, 2009
Christine officially joined our office in January, 2006 as a Registered Dental Hygienist. She helped us as a temp for almost a year before we were able to convince her to stay. (We told her we wouldn’t bite!) It’s turned out to be a good deal for us and our patients. Christine was an orthodontic assistant for 6 years prior to becoming a hygienist. She has 15 years of experience as a hygienist. Christine is a member of the American Dental Hygienists Association.
Christine was born in Miami, Florida and grew up there. She and her husband have been married for five years. They just purchased a home in Jacksonville and are anxious to get settled.
For fun Christine enjoys hiking, fishing, working out, and wall climbing (not to be confused with climbing the walls). She likes to watch the Travel Channel, and the Food Network.
Christine likes working in dentistry because:
I enjoy learning about all the different ways to cosmetically enhance a person’s smile.
When asked what kind of tree would you be and why?
Christine replied:
Any kind of tropical plant that grows next to the water.
Michelle Last Updated: Jan, 2012
Michelle joined us August, 2010. Her previous experience was two years in a Little Rock dental office. Michelle works as a Registered Dental Assistant.
Born in California and grew up in New Jersey, Michelle has been married to her "best friend" for 13 years. Michelle and Toby have 4 children (2 are dental assistants) and 2 grandchildren.
When Michelle is not chairside she likes to be camping and really enjoys riding a motorcycle to get there.
Michelle loves to see a patient's face when their smile is unveiled. This explains why she likes what she does.
When asked what kind of tree would you be and why?
Michelle replied:
I would be a Willow tree, because it is strong, yet flexible.
Tammy Last Updated: May, 2009
Tammy worked as a dental assistant while in college. In 1987, Tammy graduated from Dental Hygiene School and began helping us full time as a Registered Dental Hygienist. In 2005, after 18 years of faithful, loyal service to our patients, Tammy decided to retire. We renamed her room to “Tammy’s Room” in her honor. In 2008, Tammy decided to “un-retire” and help us on an “as needed” basis. Needless to say, we are pleased with her decision as are our patients.
Tammy was born in Magnolia, AR and grew up in Blevins, AR. She has lived in Conway 22 years (since 1987) and is married with 3 children.
Tammy’s hobbies include spending time with her family. She also loves any activities that her children are involved in such as bowling, dance, upward, and quizzing. She also enjoys working with quiz team at church, and K-life. She also likes to read a good book and relax when she can in her spare time.
Tammy likes working in dentistry because:
I am a people person. I love getting to know our patients and making a difference in their oral health and their overall health.
When asked what kind of tree would you be and why?
Tammy replied:
I would be a dogwood tree. Growing up in the country, the wild dogwoods blooming at the farm were the first sign of spring. For me they represent springtime and are a reminder of Easter and all that new life brings us.

Traci Last Updated: May, 2009
Traci worked as a dental assistant prior to attending Dental Hygiene School. Upon graduation in 1993, she began helping our patients full time as a Registered Dental Hygienist. Traci has never officially retired, but has cut back her schedule to an “as needed” basis. We, as well as our patients, appreciate Traci’s nearly 16 year commitment to our office.
Traci was born in Garden Grove, CA and grew up in Conway. Traci is married. She and her husband have one son.
Traci enjoys family time. She also likes gardening and spending time scrapbooking.
Traci likes working in dentistry because:
It is so rewarding to help people, especially with their smile! Also, when you teach people about the health of their mouth, this affects their overall health as well! Friendships developed with patients is an added bonus.
When asked what kind of tree would you be and why?
Traci replied:
I would be a sugar maple because it turns such beautiful colors in the fall.

Jamie Last Updated Jan, 2012
Jamie is a recent honors graduate of Hendrix College where she majored in Chemistry. She plans on receiving her masters degree and then attending dental school. Jamie spent her summer college internship working as an orthodontic assistant. This is her first time to work in a general dentistry office. Her main duties involve being a chairside assistant.
Jamie was born in Arkadelphia and moved to Little Rock about 13 years ago. Jamie has an older sister who will become a teacher.

Jamie plays the violin and has been in student orchestras for 12 years. Maybe we can get her to play some sympathy music during patient appointments.
Jamie has wanted to be in the dental field as long as she can remember. She loves to see how something as simple as a healthy smile can completely uplift and improve a person's confidence.
When asked what kind of tree would you be and why?
Jamie replied:
If I were a tree I'd be a Ginkgo Biloba tree. It is the only tree in its scientific classification division, and I am one of a kind!

Caleb Last Updated: January, 2012
Caleb joined our office as a chairside dental assistant in May, 2011. He became a Registered Dental Assistant November, 2011. Caleb has experience working in his father's medical office.
Caleb was born in Little Rock and has grown up here in Conway. I'm speculating that Caleb has never been lonely since he is the 4th born of 8 sons.
Caleb enjoys many sports, reading classic literature, playing piano, spending time with my brothers (and parents), hunting, attending church, mission trips to help those in need/share the gospel, pursuing Christ.
Caleb intends to pursue a career in dentistry after graduating from the University of Central Arkansas.
When asked what kind of tree would you be and why?
Caleb replied:
Oak, because they are a symbole of strength and consistency. Plus, everybody likes oak trees, right?
